Why Eau de Parfum?
Eau de Parfum, often abbreviated as EDP, is a type of fragrance that contains a higher concentration of fragrance oils compared to other types of perfumes. This higher concentration is what gives Eau de Parfum its long-lasting scent.
At Mochiglow, we understand the importance of long-lasting scents. That's why our Eau de Parfum collection features carefully crafted fragrances with 15-20% fragrance oil concentration. Each scent is designed to envelop you in a captivating aroma that lingers for hours, creating a truly memorable olfactory experience.
The answer lies in the science of fragrance composition. Fragrance oils are the essential components that create the unique scent of a perfume. The higher concentration of fragrance oils in Eau de Parfum allows for a more intense and long-lasting scent. When applied to the skin, the fragrance oils evaporate slowly, releasing the aromatic molecules into the air over an extended period of time. This gradual release ensures that the scent lingers on the skin and in the surrounding environment for hours.
On average, Eau de Parfum can last anywhere from 4 to 8 hours. However, the longevity of a fragrance can vary depending on factors such as the individual's body chemistry, the specific fragrance composition, and environmental conditions. Check out our tips for making your perfume fragrance last longer!
Eau de parfum is a highly concentrated fragrance that can leave a lasting impression. To make the most of your eau de parfum and ensure the scent lingers throughout the day, follow these tips:
1. Apply to Pulse Points
When applying eau de parfum, focus on your pulse points. These areas generate heat, which helps to activate and release the fragrance. Apply the perfume to your wrists, neck, and behind your ears for maximum effect.
2. Moisturize Your Skin
Dry skin tends to absorb fragrance faster, which can make the scent fade more quickly. To prevent this, moisturize your skin before applying eau de parfum. Use an unscented lotion or body oil to create a barrier that will help lock in the fragrance.
3. Apply to Clean, Dry Skin
For the best results, apply eau de parfum to clean, dry skin. Avoid applying it directly after a shower or bath, as the moisture can dilute the fragrance and affect its longevity. Wait until your skin is completely dry before spritzing on your perfume.
Tip #1: Don't Rub Your Wrists Together
After applying eau de parfum to your wrists, resist the urge to rub them together. Rubbing can actually break down the fragrance molecules and alter the scent. Instead, tap your wrists gently or let the perfume dry naturally on your skin.
Tip #2: Store Properly
To preserve the quality of your eau de parfum, store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Heat and light can degrade the fragrance and alter its scent. Keep the perfume bottle tightly closed when not in use to prevent evaporation.
By following these tips, you can make the most of your eau de parfum and enjoy its captivating scent all day long. Experiment with different application techniques and layering options to find the perfect combination for you.

I really love this matcha perfume! It smells exactly like a matcha latte or matcha pocky. It’s def not just straight earthy matcha which is a bit regretful, but I was aware of that from the notes! I was really shocked at how realistic this was! The only other perfume I’ve ever smelled that was close to a matcha latte is the discontinued Tea Escape from Maison Margiela, but I think this one is much better. I’m pretty happy because now I don’t have to worry about running out of my Tea Escape now that I’ve found this perfume by Mochiglow!
It smells like canned boba pearls or some kind of baby soap.
I don't think this perfume deserves to be called "matcha" unfortunately. Was so excited of a possible perfume that smells like matcha.
Disappointed for the price.
Other perfumes I ordered smelled great though.
The packaging was so cute and the perfume bottle felt very nice quality, but unfortunately it didn’t smell like matcha🥺 It smelled like a spicy cinnamon butter cookie candle with citrus. I feel that a matcha note should be prominent in the perfume if the perfume scent is going to be called ‘Matcha’. I think mochiglow is such a cool brand so I’m sad that the first thing I ordered from here is a bit of a miss but I do appreciate the quality and care of the packaging and product!
