Wax Melt Restock Update
What's going on with our wax melt restock? Mochiglow used to make 6-cube wax melts with our Asian-inspired scents. I know a lot of you have been asking about restocks after we announced they were discontinued. I spoke to a few of you & mentioned we were changing the packaging to 1-oz instead.
Unfortunately, we won't be able to continue making the wax melts at all. I know a few people have gotten upset, so I wanted to explain what has been going on:
First, my mom usually makes all the wax melts. She was planning on restocking for May, but with her decline in hand dexterity, it's getting to be tougher for her to do manual work. We're still a small team, and it's getting hard to keep up with so much inventory.
Secondly, those tariffs are really starting to catch up. The reality is, most packaging and raw materials (like wax and fragrance oils) are still so reliant on international production. Even though we source from US-based companies, they source their packaging, etc from overseas. With all our suppliers raising prices across the board, we just can't offer $5 wax melts anymore. My goal has always been to keep prices accessible, so I don't think it's fair to you all with any price increases right now. Once all the economic changes have died down, we hope to get more updates about future pricing that makes sense for both you & us.
The short version is, we won't be able to offer wax melts any more. I know it's upsetting & I'm SO very sorry for getting your hopes up with the May restock announcement. I truly hope you guys understand. And I hope this offers a bit of perspective about our reasons why. Feel free to comment below if you have any questions!

I’m really sorry to hear this and as someone suffering from hand dexterity issues, I was wish your mom well and I hope she knows she’s not alone. I’m sure this just a bump in the road and things will get better soon. I’m glad we can still support y’all by purchasing other items! All the best!!
This is incredibly sad. While I understand and all its still very disappointing given that my favorite perfume was discontinued and now the wax melts are too which I bought over the candles because they didn’t trigger my migraines.
Hey there! First off I just wanna say I’m a huge fan. I’m sure you have heard this a lot, but I am so bummed to hear that you guys are discontinuing the wax melts! I’m sure there are many fans out there that feel the same. I can only imagine that kind of popularity can be both exciting and overwhelming, especially with production limitations. Have you all considered bringing on investors or partners to help scale production and meet the demand? Just curious if that’s something on the table now or down the line.
